About CamAlmanac
CamAlmanac is a directory of live cam rooms. It shows which performers are online now, the hours they usually stream and how many people tend to watch, worked out from our own checks of public rooms.
How it works
Every few minutes we check the public rooms on the platform that hosts them. For each room we note the category it is listed in, the languages and country the performer declares, the tags the performer chose (which we turn into a short list of themes), and the number of viewers at that moment.
Everything else on the site comes from those checks:
- Live now, on the home page and on every category page, lists the rooms online at the last check, biggest audiences first.
- Performer pages show the days a performer was live in the last thirty, the hours they usually stream, and their average and peak viewers. These figures appear only after a few days of data, because a single evening proves nothing.
- Hourly charts show how many rooms of a category are usually online at each hour, in your own time zone.
- Regulars lists, for each category, the performers seen on several separate days, ranked by average audience.
What we do not do
We do not guess. A country or a language appears only if the performer declared it. We do not describe anyone from their pictures, and we show a picture only while the room is live. We do not count private shows, invent viewers or keep rooms on the page after they have closed.
We do not host any video. The rooms belong to the performers and are hosted by the platform; links that open a room are affiliate links, which is how the site pays for itself.
Who it is for
Adults who want to know when a performer they like is usually online, or which rooms are busy at their own hour of the night. The site is for people aged 18 or over, or the age of majority where they live if that is higher.
